ACCIDENT LAW

Conclusion :- In order to give effective rights to the person injured or expired in an accident, Fatal Accidents Act, 1885 was enacted in India. This Act provided only a procedure and a right of named legal heirs to claim compensation from the person committing negligence.

It came into force on 14 November 1985 as THE NARCOTIC DRUGS AND PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES ACT, 1985 (shortened to NDPS Act).

PERSONAL LAW

(2) Conclusion :- Personal laws are defined as laws that apply to a specific group of people or an individual based on their religion, faith, or culture. In India, for example, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, and Parsis are governed by their own personal laws, which often cover aspects like marriage, divorce, inheritance, and succession. These laws are often rooted in religious texts and traditions.
